Double battles...

My brother's been playing Pokemon XD obsessvily since it first came out. I was watching him play it this morning, and I've he's got a lot of my party Pokemon on that game. It's odd.

But a little while afterward, we decided to enter the Battle Tower double battle together. That was a horrible idea. His Pokemon on his Emerald are around fifty-five, and mine are all on level sixty, so we had to do Open Level. The other teams' Pokemon all ganged up on his. But, I proved I've trained my Pokemon well. We actually made it all the way through the challenge, though I did the majority of the battling.

Our last battle was particularly amusing. I saved it on my trainer card. It went something like this...

I sent out my Altaria and he used his Houndoom against the other team's Croconaw and Delcatty. They took out his Houndoom quickly and he replaced it with Jynx, which was also easily defeated. My Altaria continued to hold her own and took out the Croconaw (replaced with Roselia), though she began to take serious damage from the Delcatty and fainted. My Sceptile easily beat the Delcatty with a leaf blade, and a Wartortle took over for it. Another leaf blade did serious damage to it, but it held a focus band. Roselia used toxic on my Sceptile. My Sceptile finished the Wartorle with a dragon claw, though his HP was getting low from the poison and constant use of magical leaf against him. His HP was almost completely diminished and the Roselia still had about 3/4 of its own left. I used dragon claw with hopes for a critical hit, and got one. Man... Sceptiles are so awesome...
